...which should really be called Caldera Lake NP, b/c the lake is really in the caldera formed by the collapse of Mt. Mazama.
Hot, b/c a heat wave struck. temps were up to ~85-90 deg. better than back down by Bend, where temp up to 100 deg..
Getting ready to hike Mt. Rainier NP. Need food. bug repellent. all sorts of stuff. food bags.
